{"id":2635,"date":"2026-10-28T16:50:27","date_gmt":"2026-10-28T16:50:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bridges4health.pt\/?post_type=evento&#038;p=2635"},"modified":"2026-10-28T16:50:33","modified_gmt":"2026-10-28T16:50:33","slug":"think-tank-da-prei-bridges4health-reune-na-catolica-do-porto-para-desenhar-o-futuro-das-ciencias-da-vida-e-da-saude-na-regiao-norte","status":"publish","type":"evento","link":"https:\/\/bridges4health.pt\/en\/eventos\/think-tank-da-prei-bridges4health-reune-na-catolica-do-porto-para-desenhar-o-futuro-das-ciencias-da-vida-e-da-saude-na-regiao-norte\/","title":{"rendered":"PREI Bridges4Health Think Tank Meets at Cat\u00f3lica Porto to Shape the Future of Life Sciences and Health in the Northern Region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Universidade Cat\u00f3lica Portuguesa (UCP) in Porto hosted a working session of the Think Tank established as part of the Regional Smart Specialisation Platform (PREI) for Life Sciences and Health, Bridges4Health \u2013 Building Bridges for Future Health, funded by the NORTE 2030 Regional Programme and co-funded by the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aligned with the Northern Region Smart Specialisation Strategy 2021\u20132027 (S3 Norte 2027), the platform aims to connect the regional Life Sciences and Health ecosystem, identify investment priorities and promote a joint strategy for innovation and regional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"max-width:700px; width:100%; margin:0 auto 30px;\">\n  <iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/N2nXFKEEPeA?si=_OnHBkv6NMRAQwrA\" style=\"display:block; width:100%; height:auto; aspect-ratio:16\/9; border:0;\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen=\"\">\n  <\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The Think Tank brings together representatives from healthcare institutions, research centres, universities, companies, professional associations, investors, and regulatory and decision-making bodies, fostering collaboration among the different stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the session, participants explored scientific, technological, and market trends, as well as key challenges and opportunities for collaboration. These discussions will help define strategic priorities and recommendations to strengthen innovation, institutional cooperation and the competitiveness of the Northern Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Bridges4Health seeks to bring academia, the healthcare system and the business sector closer together, fostering synergies, avoiding duplication of investment and facilitating access to competitive funding.
